PM Modi to attend Advantage Assam 2.0 on Feb 25

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude on behalf of the people of the state to Prime Minister Modi for approving a urea plant in Namrup, terming the decision of the Central Government as a “game-changer in the state’s developmental journey”.

GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said Prime minister Narendra Modi will attend the Advantage Assam 2.0 as a chief guest on February 25, as well as the mega Jhumur dance performance at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati.

Sarma on Monday met the PM at Parliament House in New Delhi. Sarma expressed his gratitude on behalf of the people of Assam to Prime Minister Modi for approving a urea plant in Namrup, terming the decision of the Central Government as a “game-changer in the state’s developmental journey”.

Sarma also met Union minister for communications and development of northeastern region Jyotiraditya Scindia at his official residence.
